Very sturdy

These are great, only adjustment I made was I replaced the stock screws with thicker screws that were also about 3x longer than the ones in the package. Before I hung my heavy Les Paul, I tested the hanger by hanging a 20lbs dumbbell off it, it didn't even flinch! Probably could have held a 30lbs dumbbell but my guitar only weighs 8lbs so I felt confident enough that it wouldn't fall. I'm definitely going to buy a few more, good stuff!

Good but a few issues

Stuck to the wall and won"t fall off like other stands. Works great! But, it"s starting to bend and warp now that I"ve had it for a year. My 5 string has almost put it in half with its weight, even though I remember the box saying that it"s able to hold at least 25 pounds (my 5 string is 15 pounds).

Well Built but a couple issues

First off nice robust design. Not good if looking for something flush or near flush to wall because they stick out further than I thought they would. Back of guitar is full 6"-7.5" from wall depending on electric or acoustic model. I hung mine around and above a chest of drawers I keep my amps on and like how they look and work. The yolk doesn't pivot so guitars are angled to wall if you want to use this feature. Also, the anchors for dry wall are crap so be ready to invest in better quality ones.

Agree, not for the DiamondLife Slat Strip

I REALLY wanted these to work cause I'm pretty much in love with the floor stands but as another reviewer stated, they aren't that hot when used with the Diamond Life Slat Strip. I ran into the same issues with the slat wall adapter (this allows it to make a bracing contact at the bottom of the hanger as well as as the top). This adapter is plastic and not metal and when added doesn't have enough space to allow the hanger to sit in the channel properly. You could use it without the adapter but the issue there is that it wiggles around a wee bit to much AND the lower part of the flange seems to have give that would make me thing twice about adjusting the arm to tip of be flange.

I think they should put in a bit more time into that adapter by resizing it and making it metal and also look into adding density to the slotted flange. Then again, maybe it wouldn't need it if the adapter worked?

2 starts for this product cause I'm unsure how well it would work outside of slat scenario I have.
