650 watts of power in a portable combo amp
The KP-612S features two stereo channels, rated at 250 watts each if both are employing 8-ohm loads. That said, if you’re using the subwoofer option, its signal comes from the power amplifier’s left channel, which when split between the external subwoofer and the KP-612’s built-in woofer, results in a 4-ohm load on the amplifier, rated at 400 watts. The power output to the right channel remains an 8-ohm load, rated at 250 watts. Combining the left channel’s 400 watts with the right channel’s 250 watts is where the 650-watt total comes from.
Ultra-realistic 3D imaging
