Luna vintage baritone

I bought this baritone as a black Friday deal. I play ukulele and guitar, so it made sense to have a baritone. The eq works well. No issues, I can turn it all of the way up and it comes through clear. This baritone is quiet, might be the Aquila strings. Plug it in and it sounds like a much more expensive instrument. It has good resonance. The action was perfect straight out of the box. Neck is straight with smooth frets. I asked my luthier about it not having a truss rod and he wasn't concerned as he has a 1950's baritone without a truss rod and his baritone is still straight. I do watch my humidity, keeping it above 30%, so he didn't think I will have a problem. Good solid instrument that does what it is supposed to do.

Music background: Started piano at 5 years old. Started learning guitar in my 20's. Now at 52, learning ukulele for the last 6 months. Ukulele is definitely my instrument of choice.

Luna VM Baritone Uke electric

Guitar players POV. Pros 1) Action is easy to customize by shaving the bridge. 2) has a truss rod with 3/16 allen adjustment in sound hole. 3) comfortable to play. 4) on board tuner is ok, gets the job done 5) case ok. Cons 1) if pickup s above 50%, it distorts quickly, this is my only negative.
I wanted this for easy action, portability, and to improve my finger style, with closer fretting. If you need the pickup I would consider something else, but if you want good overall quality, and fun to play, this serves me well. If you don't want the tuner the non electric may be a better choice. I highly recommend and would purchase again. I am giving 5 stars even with negatives because of the exceptional price. Hope this helps..

Just ok.

I purchased this uke 5 months ago. I've played it lightly approx. once a week since purchased and noticed that the neck has been bowing backwards recently, making it very difficult to play. There is no truss rod, so i'm unable to adjust it.
