Your Favorite Bass Fuzz Just Got Better!

The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi delivers the classic bass fuzz tone you crave plus the control you need to make it work with your music. Packed with more tone-shaping tricks than ever, this Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi is ehx's answer to countless requests from professional bass players. For instance, there's a -10dB pad onboard to accommodate active pickups, and a built-in gate to keep your performance tight. Once you dive in, you'll be amazed by what you can do with your Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi!

Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi Bass Fuzz Stompbox Effect at a Glance:
  • Blend dial lets you fuzz up your bass, without killing your dynamics
  • Crossover controls provide everything you need to sculpt the perfect bass fuzz
  • The output options you need for studio and stage alike
Blend dial lets you fuzz up your bass, without killing your dynamics

Get the massive bass fuzz tone you want, without sacrificing the dynamics and definition you can't afford to lose, with the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi. That's because Electro-Harmonix added a long-requested blend control to the classic Bass Big Muff Pi, which lets you mix dry signal back in with its distortion effect.

Crossover controls provide everything you need to sculpt the perfect bass fuzz

No one saw the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi's crossover controls coming. The variable lowpass filter lets you round off the dry low-frequency signal, freeing up space for high-frequency fuzz. The variable highpass filter, on the other hand, pulls lows out of the fuzz, removing the mud from your fuzz tone. And to top it all off, the entire crossover section on the electro-harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi is footswitchable, allowing you to dramatically shift your tone in real time.

The output options you need for studio and stage alike

When Electro-Harmonix built the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi, they had a pretty good idea that serious bass players like you would want to use this stompbox both live onstage and in the recording studio. That's why they hooked it up with three separate outputs. The parallel 1/4" output lets you send just your dry signal back to your monitor or onstage amplifier. On the other side of the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi, you'll find both a standard 1/4" output for your main amp and a balanced XLR out for running direct to the PA or into a recording interface.

Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi Bass Fuzz Stompbox Effect Features:
  • A awesome version of ehx's classic bass fuzz effect updated to meet the demands of modern bass players
  • Switchable 0dB/-10dB input provides compatibility with both passive and active pickups
  • Blend control lets you mix the direct and distorted signal to taste
  • Take complete control of your output signal and sound with three outputs: a 1/4" effect out, a 1/4" direct (buffered dry) out, and an XLR DI out
  • Sculpt your sound with the foot-switchable crossover section, featuring a variable lowpass filter on the dry signal and a variable highpass filter on the distorted signal
  • Control unwanted noise at any level with the built-in noise gate
Get the bass fuzz you've always wanted with an Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi!

Makes the Bass so much more!

I have really enjoyed playing bass since adding the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Deluxe Bass! It adds depth and sound that just didn't exist before. I recently added an old cheap Danelectro FAB Echo with it, and all I can say now is, WOW!

The tone shift is incredible! Add an echo to it, and it is pretty much unstoppable. I realize bass is primarily for rhythm, but the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Deluxe Bass with an echo really, really sounds good. I love it.
My 2 cents.
Enjoy!

deluxe bass BIG MUFF π, loving it

Even though I don't play professional bass anymore. I love the different sound I get with my Big Muff. Know I can get the same sound as the recording I play along with. I use to a "Hog's Foot" back in the 70's.

The real deal

Being a metal bass player I've never been happy with any distortion pedal I've owned, Rat, Turbo Rat, DOD, Morley, even the drive knobs on my amp cranked to 11, bass knobs on 11, you name it I've tried it, they just never were right always seemed too snappy, well today I recieved my deluxe bass big muff and if I could give it 6 stars I would, this thing wow you CAN'T get a bad sound, jeez louise any combination is so awesome, from warm geezer n.i.b. fuzz to cliffs anesthesia shredding your face off this pedal will absolutely positively hands down give you the sound you need. The blend knob that let's you add the dry bass sound to your distortion simply brilliant, dimmer switch for actives, crossover for passives, dry out for 2nd amp direct out for mixer wow wow wow is all I can say if your a metal bassist sell your car hook your woman on the corner sell pharmaceuticals do whatever the heck you need to do to but give my man Joey at Schaaweetwater a call and get one of these now, crank it to 11 and let your ahole neighbors know there's a new beeoch in town she's moved in an taint going away so they better get used to it, yesssss finallyyyy!!

I haven't been this Fuzzy since No Shave November

This pedal is awesome. It's got an awesome, dynamic set of controls that can dial in a fat, wet fuzzy that makes you want to scowl (bass face, it's a good thing- trust me) or a dry, echo-y "fuzz" that sounds like distortion coming through an old transistor radio. It's great! I especially enjoy the range this pedal offers. I've always been a bass "purist," (I refused to touch a pedal for the first 15 years that I played) but I have nothing to good things to say about this pedal. It should be in the repertoire of every bassist.
