The Easy Path to Wireless Freedom

Going cable free doesn't get any easier than the BOSS WL-20L. This wireless system eschews complicated setups in favor of a simple plug-and-play design. Experience ultra-low latency and expansive dynamics while enjoying rock-solid stability and a 50-foot operating range. And charging the components of the system is as easy as plugging into a standard USB adapter. Get a BOSS WL-20, and say goodbye to your cable management woes. The WL-20L is functionally identical to the WL-20, but doesn't offer cable tone simulation, making it a great choice for acoustic-electric guitars, active pickups, keytars, or other instruments where capacitance doesn't tend to impact tone.

As easy to use as a standard guitar cable

If you suffer from technophobia, BOSS's WL-20L will ease your anxiety. The guitarists here at Sweetwater have found that it's as easy to use as your standard guitar cable. Simply plug the transmitter into your instrument and the receiver into a pedal or your amp. Pairing the transmitter and receiver is also a breeze. Just dock them together for about 10 seconds, and the WL-20L does all the work for you.

If you can charge your smartphone, you can charge this

Do you have a smartphone? Do you know how to charge it? Of course you do. Well, charging the WL-20L is just as easy. When docked, its transmitter and receiver both charge with a standard USB adapter. You can also charge the transmitter separately via the included micro USB cable. The WL-20L requires a USB adapter of 5V/500 mA or greater.

BOSS WL-20L Features:

  • Easy-to-use guitar wireless system
  • Eschews complicated setups in favor of a simple plug-and-play design
  • Experience ultra-low latency and expansive dynamics
  • Enjoy rock-solid stability and a 50-foot operating range
  • Works best with active guitars or basses, acoustic-electric guitars, and line-level instruments like keytars
  • Easy charging with a standard USB adapter (5V/500 mA or greater)
  • Includes a micro USB cable for charging the transmitter separately
  • Benefit from up to 10 hours of continuous use from a single charge
  • Use up to 14 BOSS wireless systems simultaneously in one space

Wireless Ax Edge Keytar and WL-20L wireless system A+

The WL-20L is the first wireless unit I have used for my own needs. As a former live audio engineer I have used just about every wireless system made. The drawback to wireless has always been somebody "stepping" on your signal or having the signal "drop out".

Reading through the reviews for this product.....the complaints seem to be the same ....interruptions and loss of signal due to microwave units, wireless routers or bluetooth devices. Well, I have all of those devices and more in my small apartment and I have not experienced any problems with the WL-20L. I plug into both my Roland Ax Edge keytar and my Yamaha Sonogenic keytar and the receiver into my Soundcraft series 16 mixing console and I can play for hours on end with a clean, crisp and strong signal.

BOSS / Roland makes high quality audio products and have an excellent reputation in the live sound industry. This product is easy to charge via USB, it is easy to pair (takes 5-10 seconds) and it is reliable... even with other wireless signals in the same room. Buy it and try it and you will be glad you did. I am.

Nothing but Awesomeness!

My first wireless system and mainly wanted to get this to play wireless at an upcoming school talent show. I tested it by playing in different parts of my house and I didn't notice any delay from my guitar to amp. It feels unreal with the fact that I'm playing without a cord, but it's so awesome!

Excellent!

I don't run a pedal board with my acoustic so I wanted to plug directly into my Fender Acoustic Junior amp or a DI box. This seemed like the most "pro" non pedal board style wireless system. Sunday I played 3 hours at Church and had a 4 hour rehearsal for my band after that. Battery life was great! The thing just works with no drama or issues. The key to wireless is trusting it and so far this unit has been great.

Spot On

I've been a Boss fan sense 1985 or 1986 when I got my first Boss pedal. (Super Distortion Feedbacker) Many pedals and processers later, I've gone with Boss wireless for my bass guitars also. For me this is my go to. I will say that if your output jack is on the front of your guitar, you may want to go with another option. All my basses have side output jacks. Other than that, I'm very happy with the 3 sets of these I have now. Coming up on 2 years on 2 of them and they are still going strong. I play on each set 2 or 3 times a week. So to sum it up, I would say that if your wanting to get that cable out from under your feet and have a side jack on your bass guitar, that has active electronics, or any guitar that has active electronics, this may be the wireless system for you. I highly recommend you check it out. D.

Easy

Bought this to replace my aging UHF system. Have used it for rehearsals & a couple of gigs. Also using wireless mics, IEM's, & DMX. So far, no problems, no dropouts, no interference with the other wireless rigs.
