telefunken SGMC-5R

what a great cable! definitely a professional "feel". even comes with its own velcro tie. very nice!

It's great

I got this cable about a year ago. Since then, it's been thrown around and has been treated pretty roughly. It shows no signs of wear, and still works perfectly. Don't know what the person writing the 1 star review was on about, maybe they had some sort of defective cable, or something else was acting up? I've had it in plenty of "high-traffic" areas and haven't had any issues. It's actually a lot better than my D'Addario cables which are admittedly pretty cheap, and feels a lot more professional then most of my other cables.

Great problem solver, especially around a drum set

I'm a pro touring and recording drummer, and given the lack of "tlc" most house mics and cables tend to get, I prefer to have my own mics and cables with me on the road, just in case. These right angle connectors keep the cables down and out of the way of other parts of the drum kit. I also use one on my vocal mic on those rare occasions I'm asked to sing harmony vocals. Altogether a great addition to my gear arsenal!

Excellent Quality

90 degree angled case is metal, nice and sturdy. Both ends slide in and lock smoothly. I use them on my mounted toms. Nicer quality than I expected. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed.

As a drummer who does a fair amount of harmony vocals, it seemed that the three or four inches behind the mic, where the female XRL connector plugged into the mic, plus the additional couple of inches of cable which came out of the connector, were always getting in the way of the most opportune time. After putting up with it for more years than I can remember, I bought the right angle, female connector cable...which I should have done a long time ago. So now, after using it for a few gigs and eliminating the problem I had suffered with for far too long...I'm kicking myself for not having done it sooner. I can also see several other spots on my drum mic set up where it could also be useful, so I think I'm going to be ordering a few more before too long.
Music background: Drummer for over 40 years, soundman for over 20.
