Very pleased

First, my application for this product is for a small blues trio playing to crowds of fewer than 100. My lead singer likes to roam the dance floor in front of her white dancing with the crowd. I play guitar and sing and don't roam but like the de-clutter of wireless mics. So we wanted a dual mic system and this fit the bill. I was very concerned that this would not sound as good as our cabled SM58s. However, these mics sound excellent! They are "hot" and had to set their gain -10db. Super easy setup and channel selection. Lead singer sets it up quickly and it's ready to go.

Hreat mics, easy setup.

We purchased 3 of these units for our church to replace some aged Audio Technica units that were operating on the 650 - 680 Mgz bands. It took less than 10 minutes to set them up and dial them in. We have used them for 3 services now and they have performed flawlessly. No drop outs, no cross talking of any kind.The receivers are located in our Media Booth which is about 70 Feet from our platform and no matter where you are in our Sanctuary these mics work great. I have read a few reviews about these mics dropping out and body case noise. I think in the case of mic dropouts that the issue most likely wasn't a fault of the mic but more so of an issue of either the frequency range that they purchased for the area where they were being used, or other outside interference issues.If you purchase more than one unit it is very important that the receivers are properly spaced apart. Sweetwater was very clear on this when we purchased them and they are working flawlessly. Yes there is some body noise the mic will pick up if they are slide around while being held but our worship team has been properly trained as to how to properly handle mics so we do not have that issue either. Overall great mics at a great price you won't go wrong with these.

Jim Swain is the man!

I own plenty of BLX gear, the systems are amazing for their price point. With Shure, you know you're getting quality stuff. But had to find a place to write about my man, Jim Swain. I order from Jim and Sweetwater several times a year for my school or my side gigs as a wedding performer. He's always helping where he can with pricing and with placing the orders, but this last shipment (with this unit and a few other things) was unfortunately stolen from my stoop in South Philly. I'm in the midst of filing claims and police reports, but Jim has been ultra helpful and courteous through this whole ordeal. It's been great have someone talk with some reason at a time where I just could be flying off the handle and freaking out. Thanks Sweetwater and Jim!
