Looks and plays perfectly

I've been super happy with this guitar it plays super well and sounds amazing to. The electronics are a huge upgrade over my other guitar. The pick-ups have a little less output than my other guitar but there is so much more clarity and definition in the notes played.

Bought 5 years ago, still amazing.

This guitar is the best bang for your buck. I didn't want anything super-premium because I'm a casual player. I play for 6 months, get good, and then quit for a year to focus on undergrad, get into law school, repeat. However, every time I pick this guitar up and get after it, it holds up. I will say that even though I bought this guitar 5 years ago, Sweetwater still contacts me to make sure I'm happy with it. I'm gearing up to graduate law school and after 20 years of playing, am looking forward to finally learning theory. I'm definitely a lifetime Sweetwater customer. To be frank, I'd buy a plywood plank from Sweetwater. Their customer service is THAT good. Thankfully, Josh Strid and company will ensure that won't happen and I'll get what I pay for and then some. Well done, Josh and Sweetwater.

Review Update

I find these reviews very helpful when considering a purchase. With that in mind, I have some additional comments about this guitar after playing it for several hours. First, the tuning stability is excellent thanks to the fixed bridge, through body strings, and Tusq nut material.

The electronics are amazing for a guitar in this price range. I love these pickups. I was expecting to upgrade them but definately no need for that. Although there is no coil splitting, the tonal range is fantastic due to the great tone pot. There is no muddieness when the volume is turned down.

This is my first Schecter guitar but i can honestly say it is a great guitar!

Nice!

Excellent guitar for the price. It's simple and very easy to play. The fit and finish are excellent and the frets are well dressed. I like the pickups which don't offer coil splitting in this model. However, the tone control is outstanding and provides exceptional tone control. I don't like "crome dome" control knobs because it's impossible to see at a glance where the volume and tone are set but these can easily be replaced.

Smooth!

One of the best guitars I've had the pleasure of playing. Kinda lightweight, smooth thin neck. Just a classic Schecter feel to it. Just one of those guitars you pick up and it feels "Right" I guess I could say. Next thing you know you've been playing for 6 hours. Overall it's a great guitar for the price and it's got a nice tone even stock. Definitely buy this
