They are Jim Rutledge (vocalist and drummer), Ed Grundy (bassist), Rick Cobb III (drummer), Lee

Pickens (lead guitarist), Stevie Hill (keyboardist), and Nick Taylor (rhythm guitarist).

As one of the most popular bands, it released nine albums, eighteen singles and extended plays, and three compilations.

Also, Bloodrock received awards and became more popular in the country and other foreign countries like Vietnam.

Some of its record-breaking albums include Bloodrock (1970), Bloodrock U.S.A. (1971), Passage (1972),

Whirlwind Tongues (1974), and The Bloodrock Reunion Concert (2007).

Kids in the ’70s might have already heard Bloodrock’s singles and extended plays such as A Certain Kind (1971), Thank You, Daniel Ellsberg (1972), Rock & Roll Candy Man (1972), and Eleanor Rigby (1974).

 

Blue Rodeo

Formed in Toronto, Ontario, Blue Rodeo is well-known for its hit songs in the ’80s.

The current lineup consisted of Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor (vocalist and guitarist), Bob Egan (multi-instrumentalist), Bazil Donovan (bassist), Bob Packwood (keyboardist), and Glenn Milchem (drummer).

The former members include Kim Deschamps, Cleave Anderson, James Gray, Bob Wiseman, and Mark French.

After a few attempts to form a band, the members had the opportunity to have their debut album.

Outskirts (1987), Blue Rodeo’s debut album, is among the successful albums they produced.

Its success in the industry resulted in the members’ dedication, hard work, and passion.

They released their live album, eleven studio albums, a best-selling DVD, and a greatest hits collection.

When You Were Wild is their latest single.

The band’s popular songs include After The Rain, One Light Left in Heaven, What Am I Doing Here, and I Can’t Hide This Anymore. 

 

Blind Melon

One of the record-breaking bands known for their success as artists, Blind Melon, began in 1989 in Los Angeles, CA. 

It was musically active until the 2000s.

Although the band was active for only a decade, it released seven albums, ten singles and EPs, four compilations, and three videos.

Most of their songs were under the legendary recording label Capital Records.

If you were a fan of the ’90s music, you probably heard their hit songs such as No Rain, Tones of Home, For My Friends, With the Right Set Of Eyes, and Change.

Some of their albums include Blind Melon (1992), Elvis Costello & The Attractions (1993), and Live At

The Palace (2006).

Their videos also include Dear Ole Dad (1992), Letters From A Porcupine (1996), and Live At The Metro – September 27, 1995 (2005).

The band’s lineup consisted of Travis Warren, Glen Graham, Brad Smith, Rogers Stevens, and Christopher Thom.

 

Black Kids 

Musically active from the 2000s to 2010s, the Black Kids began in Jacksonville, Florida.

It consisted of Reggie Youngblood (lead vocalist and guitarist), Kevin Snow (drummer), Ali Youngblood and Dawn Watley (keyboardist and backing vocalist), and Owen Holmes (bassist).

Their music style includes alternative/indie rock and new wave/post-punk revival.

The band’s live shows impressed fans within the country for their hook-laden tunes and upbeat dance

grooves.

They also had international tours to promote their albums, including their debut album Partie Traumatic.

After a couple of tours, the members decided to separate ways and reunited in 2013.

Black Kids is being followed even on Spotify for their hit songs, such as I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You, Hurricane Jane, I’m Making Eyes At You, Look At Me (When I Rock Wichoo), and Hit The Heartbrakes.

Babyshambles

Founded in London, England, the band’s active years began in 2003 up to the present.

It started as a side-project of Peter Doherty and later became full-time after the members separated ways.

It released six albums, such as Down in Albion (2005), Official Bootleg #3 (2006), Official Bootleg #2

(2006), Shotter’s Nation (2007), Oh! What A Lovely Tour (2008), and Sequel To The Prequel (2013).

Some of the popular songs of this English rock band include What Katie Did (2004), Beg, Steal and Borrow (2006), Delivery (2007), Side of the Road (2010), and Nothing Comes to Nothing (2013).

It released a total of fourteen singles and extended plays, three compilations, and nine videos.

The present members of the band include Pete Doherty (vocalist), Drew McConnell (bassist), Mick Whitnall (guitar), and Adam Ficek (drummer).

 

Babylon Zoo

Formed in 1992, Babylon Zoo originated in Wolverhampton, England.

Its genres include hard, alternative, and electronic rock.

Although this English band is no longer active, Jas Mann, Mark Bloomer, and other former members did their best during its active years.

The band’s debut single “Spaceman” became a hit song after entering as top on the list in the UK Singles Chart in 1996.

It released three albums called The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes (1996), In Concert 696 (1997), and King Kong Groover (1998).

It also had its singles and extended plays, such as Animal Army (1996), Whatever You Want (1996), Now Is The Time (1996), Honaloochie Boogie (1998), and All The Money’s Gone (1998).

 

Bad Lieutenant

Musically active from 2008 to 2011, Bad Lieutenant is known for playing pop/rock music, and its styles

include adult alternative and alternative/indie rock.

First formed in 2007, this English alternative rock band consisted of three members.

The lineup consisted of Jake Evans (vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist), Bernard Sumner (vocalist,

keyboardist, and guitarist), and Phil Cunningham (guitarist and keyboardist).

Stephen Morris (drummer) and Tom Chapman (bassist) also joined gigs as touring members.

The band released its debut album in 2009, that is, Never Cry Another Tear.

They also had two singles and extended plays, namely, Sink Or Swim (2009) and Twist of Fate (2010).

 

Bloodhound Gang

Originally from Trappe, Pennsylvania, this American rock band began in 1988 with a different name.

Bloodhound Gang officially had its name in 1991 after the group released an eponymous tape.

The lineup consisted of Jimmy Pop (lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter), Evil Jared Hasselhoff (bass guitarist), Q-Ball (backing vocalist, keyboardist, turntables), The Yin (drummer, percussionist), and Daniel Cartier (lead guitarist).

Its albums include Use Your Fingers (1995), One Fierce Beer Coaster (1996), Hooray For Boobies (1999), Hefty Fine (2005), and Hard-Off (2015).

Some of its singles and extended plays also include Why’s Everybody Always Pickin’ On Me? (1996), Fire Water Burn (1996), The Ballad Of Chasey Lain (1999), No Hard Feelings (2005), and Screwing You On The Beach At Night (2007).

 

Band of Horses

Another American rock band from Seattle, Washington, Band of Horses, was first known as Horses.

The band is currently in Charleston, South Carolina.

From 2004 to the present, it is known for its music genres such as Indie rock, alternative rock, folk-rock, Southern rock, and power pop.

Fans of this band know for sure about Ben Bridwell (vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist), Creighton

Barrett (drummer), Ryan Monroe (keyboardist), and its former members.

After releasing its full-length debut album Everything All The Time in 2006, fans expected them to

release more albums.

Black Sabbath

An all-time favorite English rock band, Black Sabbath, is among the pioneers of heavy metal music.

Formed in 1968 in Birmingham, England, it is known for its styles, such as British and heavy metal.

The lineup consisted of Ozzy Osbourne (vocalist), Tony Iommi (songwriter and guitarist), Bill Ward (drummer), and Geezer Butler (lyricist).

Although the lineup had multiple changes, Iommi remained, and later, Black Sabbath had disbanded.

Their albums include Black Sabbath (1970), Sabotage (1975), Mob Rules (1981), Dehumanizer (1992), and The End (2017).
