Great sounds, great value

My engineer friend recommended I try Sweetwater after a few misses at my usual store and I am glad he did. Customer service is top notch and prices are very competitive. As for the Mackie's CR5-X 5" these are a fantastic value. They sounds as good as many much higher end monitors. Great verity of inputs on the back (compared to the Presosus). Convenient front volume dial on the front. My only grip is that I wish they were front ported so the position front a wall wouldn't affect the sound, but pretty common for price point. Great size, the MR524's were a tad big for my setup. Overall very happy with them and highly recommend them. Customer sales rep Todd is awesome to.

Clean and good sounding

It's a Mackie - 'nuff said! These are perfect for my small studio. Coupled with the matching sub, they give me all I need for monitoring!

Mackie CR5-X 5

These are good sounding solid speakers, I was surprised at how clean and articulate they sounded against my other monitor speakers, they sound as good as a lot higher priced speakers, and they are built tough as a tank but light !! Dropped them on the floor moments after I got them out of the boxes by accident,and I was relieved to see they were unscratched, and when I plugged them in they worked flawlessly,lol !! A great investment for the studio, Thanks Jimmy Hart, ROCK ON !!

Incredible Sounding Speakers
