Ludwig's full-bodied mahogany shells have been inspiring players since the 1920s. The Jazz Fest snare drum resurrects the classic Ludwig recipe in its Legacy Mahogany shell — built from plies of mahogany and poplar and reinforced with maple re-rings to evoke shades of warmth and roundness you'd be hard pressed to find in modern shells.
