The Perfect Pick-me-up for Your Pedalboard!

Unlike a lot of seemingly versatile stompboxes that turn out to be one-trick ponies, the JHS Prestige buffered boost pedal looks dead simple but actually adds three invaluable tools to your pedalboard. Set the knob to between 0-25%, and the Prestige acts as a straight-up buffer, making up for the high frequencies lost to long cable runs and unbuffered pedal circuitry. It's like adding a fresh pack of strings to your guitar. Sweetwater guitarists use the 25-50% range for boosting overdrive effects or punching up solos. And when you push the Prestige past half way, you get this sweetening drive that's perfect for pushing low-watt tube preamps past the breakup point.

JHS Prestige Buffered Boost Guitar Pedal Features:
  • An amazing pedal that combines a high-headroom buffer and clean boost
  • A direct descendant of the long-discontinued Mr. Magic pedal
  • Pedalboard-friendly design with simple one-knob operation provides easy operation
  • 0-25% acts as a transparent buffer, making up for the loss of high-frequencies from long cable runs
  • 25-50% adds a noticeable tone/gain boost, perfect for solos or preloading overdrive effects
  • 50-100% kicks in clean drive, easily pushing tube preamplifiers beyond the breakup point
Rediscover your guitar rig with a JHS Prestige buffered boost guitar pedal!

Secret for great tone

This small pedal has been miraculous in making my tone vibrant. My signal traverses 8
pedals and 3 rack processors. Prior to adding this pedal, my tone was muted and dull, now it sparkles.
I do keep the boost down when Drive or Modulation pedals are engaged as the boost overloads the pedals slightly. Otherwise, I have the boost up to 25% as suggested.
Quite trilled with this magic in a stomp box. As always, thank you Aaron for your continued assistance.

Mighty little booster

This pedal is compact but does its job like a champ. No feedback complications. I would recommend.

Nice simple boost

Small form factor and does what it should. It's currently at the end of my gain stage pedals as a solo boost and works perfectly for its intended purpose. Transparent and simple.

Buffers are great but this little dude is amazing.

Bought one of these to try out on a new pedal board build, put it in the front (I used two TC Electric Bonafide buffers on my last build) and I got another TC for the end of this chain, but I wanted to see what this boost would do up front and lemme just say, it's so sweet and subtle, just makes everything there sound that much better and such a small footprint, it's even smaller than the Bonafide (which has no buttons or knobs). Honestly it's such a cool little pedal, simple and to the point, once you I turned it on I couldn't believe what a difference it made, both buffering my signal and the boost, I'll probably buy more.
Music background: Been playing guitar almost 2 decades, running a biamp double-pedalboard, pushing two-dozen units

Simple and to the point.

This pedal does what it needs to, and that's all I can ask from this little guy.
