Warm and Vibrant Tone Made to Last

Elixir Acoustic Nanoweb strings don't just sound great their micro-thin coating keeps them sounding great for a lot longer than average strings. If you want to keep your guitar tone consistently great day in and day out, put on a set of Elixir Acoustic Nanoweb strings. Their coating actually cuts down on unnecessary finger friction. You'll be amazed at how long they last! Less string changes means having to buy strings less often.

The focused sound of phosphor bronze

Elixir's Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings have an organic, focused, and vibrant tone, which makes them great for bringing the warmth and brightness out of dark-sounding guitars. Sweetwater guitarists have found phosphor bronze the be a great match for mahogany, sapele, and similar guitars. And since they're coated with Elixir's Nanoweb coating, they keep their vibrant tone longer than conventional strings.

Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Strings Features:

  • Nanoweb coating provides an uncoated feel and natural sound
  • Special full-string coating prevents grime from collecting between the coils and deadening your sound
  • Extra-long life coating lasts far longer than typical coatings
  • Phosphor bronze delivers a characteristically vibrant and focused sound
  • An idea string for warming up and defining dark guitars such as those made of mahogany

consistently great sounding strings.
sounds like uncoated PB strings after 2-3 days of playing - punchy, warm, full, with some string sparkle and overtones remaining - and continues to hold this tone for long time.
less string changes, more guitar playing!

Well Worth the Price

I've been strictly an electric (Les Paul) player for many years, which I only use Elixir strings on. I recently bought a cheap, used acoustic guitar to leave out in my living room to goof around and maybe write songs on.
I've had such good experiences with the Elixir electric strings I figured I'd stick with them.
These are great! They really minimize the finger-squeak that always bothered me when playing acoustic, and the life of the strings is 2-3 times that of other brands.
They're well worth the few extra bucks.

Amazing Strings

When my guitar started to sound like someone was palm muting it constantly, I decided to get new strings. And man did they sound good!!! It has a twang to it that I had really wanted, just enough coating to make it easy for your finger to slide, but not enough to make it slip from under your finger when you make a bend.

Thin like cooked spaghetti, but sounds bright and crisp.

I normally would get the .10-.47 nanowebs and they had some "tin" sounds but with the phosphor bronze of the same width do not seem to have this problem. I play loads of bar chords so thinner strings allow me to get through sets and these strings allow me to do so without sounding like I am playing a "first act" guitar. I highly recommend these to anyone who plays acoustic and do not have fingers the size of Joe Walsh's.
Music background: Drums since 6 and guitar since 12.

Best Strings Ever!

I own a 1973 Yamaha FG-300 acoustic guitar that I have had for about 45 years. I used to play Guild strings on it but they became hard to find. I have always played 12s but I am almost 70 years old and the grip is not what it used to be. Also my fingertips aren't as tough as they used to be. I have played Elixir 10s on my electric guitar and really like them. I thought 10s on an acoustic may be too light but I thought I would give these a try. Man, am I glad I did. These things play like butter. In all the years that I have had this guitar, this is the best it has ever played. Could not believe the difference they made. And the sound and tone are great also. I would recommend these strings to anyone wanting to upgrade the playability of their acoustic. If you can play heavier gauge strings, by all means do so. But if you want something easier to play, these are great.
