A Quiet, Comfortable, Immersive Listening Experience

When it comes to comfort and passive sound isolation, Direct Sound leads the charge. The Studio Plus+ closed-back headphones bring a whopping 33.4dB of noise reduction and all-day listening enjoyment to a lightweight, foldable design. A pair of TruSound V.2 drivers delivers an immersive full-range (20Hz–20kHz) listening experience, unveiling new depth and dimension in your favorite recordings and revealing details in your audio you may have missed. The isolation comes in just as handy in your studio walls as in noisy environments (trains, planes, trade shows, etc.), keeping monitor audio from bleeding out and keeping outside noise from getting in. The padded headband and fabric earmuffs are luxurious around the head and ears, and Direct Sound's red-means-right color scheme means you'll never spend time searching for those tiny letters in a dark environment. Other long-lasting features include aircraft aluminum cable grommets, a premium 3-foot detachable cable, and an 8-foot armored mesh extender that's great for cross-room cable runs.

33.4dB of passive isolation

Specially designed cushions in the Direct Sound Studio Plus+ headphones act as a barrier between your ears and the outside world. While other headphones may measure their noise-reduction capabilities at one specific frequency, the SP34Bs offer a true 33.4dB of passive isolation over a wide frequency range.

Flat-response TruSound V.2 drivers

Direct Sound's latest TruSound V.2 drivers, capable of delivering a full-range 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, go a long way in making those marathon mix and listening sessions more productive and enjoyable.

Comfortable, foldable design

When you want a closed-back design with wearability in mind, look to the Direct Sound Studio Plus+ headphones. Their lightweight adjustable headband lets you position earcups in just the right place, while padded ear cushions create a closed-back chamber of sound. Even better, the SP34Bs fold up to stow away in a briefcase or backpack.

Easy identification

We've all had that fumbling moment when we've picked up a pair of headphones and scrutinized each side of them for the little "L" and "R" markings. Studio Plus+ headphones save time with their innovative "red is right" coloring: the inside ear panel of the right channel is covered with bright red fabric for easy identification, even in the dark.

For pro or personal devices

Their high 114dB sensitivity (1kHz @ 1mW) equips the Studio Plus+ headphones for your mobile device on the go or your audiophile amp at home. When you want a quiet, comfortable, immersive listening experience you can take on the road with you, consider the Direct Sound Studio Plus+ headphones from Sweetwater.

Amazing isolation, amazing sound, better look and comfort than the EX29

I don't know why these aren't more popular! Love the sound profile, love the look, they're more comfortable than the EX29s and they have better isolation too. The cord design is genius. Build quality does feel a little cheap to be honest, so minus one point there, but otherwise I give them 9/10.

I'm a saxophonist, and I've been using these practice to both protect my hearing and to mix in other music to play along to using a clip-on mic. I intend to use them as a stage monitor as soon as COVID ends and I have shows again. I'm always standing right next to the drummer, so having a wedge plus earplugs was okay, but not perfect. I think these will work out well. IEMs don't work well as a sax player because you get a lot of "wub wub" noise in your head due to the reed vibration and bone-conduction phenomenon. These should negate that issue completely. Great product!

Direct Sound Studio Plus Headphones

These headphones do what they advertise, diminishing the outside noise. I use them in my studio where I play a large piano that can be extremely loud at times (Steinway D). They make recording or tracking much more comfortable to my ears. I took half a star off because they are a little tight on my head, but that may improve with time. Also, the cord splits in two, going to each ear piece rather then just one cord into one side. This makes the cable lay either right in front of you or it has to come from the back, rather then coming from an out of the way position on the side. It is a minor inconvenience when putting them on your head. Other then that they work very well.

Build quiality poor - not worth the price

These are okay for the sound isolation, but not good enough to justify the sub-par construction. I have soundcore headphones that passively isolate more sound than these do while feeling more comfortable.

I appreciate that the parts are replaceable and repairable, but I'm really disappointed that the cushions were already peeling away from the cans after a year of light use. The comfort, while better than the cheaper models of these headphones, is still quite poor. The cushions are stiff and feel cheap, and as I mentioned, they are not durable. Not friendly to glasses due to the cushions being so rigid. I probably won't bother repairing these because they didn't really do the job as well as my other cheaper headphones. Maybe if the company made better cushions I could replace them with I would try that, but I already feel like I overpaid for this product.

Sound quality is quite good for a pair of flat studio headphones. I used these in lieu of IEMs for stage performance (playing sax with IEMs sucks because they trap the reed buzz in your head), and they worked well for that purpose without fatiguing my ears. They kept out the drummer well enough to do the job.

As a side note, I've seen this company's advertising and presence online and it makes me skeptical of their integrity as a company. They even sent advertisements to me in DMs just because I followed them on instagram... That's WEIRD!

Good sound isolation, disappointing sound quality

These headphones are comfortable and isolate sound pretty well. But the sound quality is quite tinny — definitely below what it should be at this price.

These are not "Isolating"

The ear adjustment's were jammed. Took full strength to get them lose~!
These are not "Isolating" at all. Drums come through loud and clear! They are cheep lite weight headphones and sound like it... I threw them away!
